A woman in her 40s was hospitalized with moderate injuries on Saturday after she was attacked by a wild boar while hiking in the Hof Hacarmel region, east of Ein Ayala.
According to Assaf Tapuchi, a Magen David Adom paramedic who treated her at the scene, "The woman was in an area that couldn't be reached by an ambulance. We took a stretcher and supplies down to hear and walked about a kilometer until we reached her. She was fully conscious and in great pain."
