US Secretary of Energy Dan Brouillette also attended the meeting, during which the ministers declared the formation of a new platform for joint dialogue in the fields of oil and natural gas, electricity, energy efficiency, renewable energies, and research and development.
In the future, the forum will include other countries in the region that maintain diplomatic relations with Israel.
The Energy Ministry said that the ministers discussed the ways in which the ties between the countries "could revolutionize national security and promote economic prosperity," as well as investments in research and development in the fields of energy, infrastructure and technology.
The ministers also said they would work together to find solutions to the energy challenges facing the Palestinians, through the development of energy sources, electricity infrastructure, and technology.
"The historic meeting is a significant milestone that will lead to the promotion of joint ventures between us and the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and the US in various energy-related fields," Steinitz said.
"The new platform we have created will allow more countries to join energy projects in the private and public sectors and it will help the region thrive. The Avraham Accords opened up many opportunities for Israel's economy and security."
