Travelers from Israel to Britain will no longer need to quarantine upon arrival. Israel is one of several countries added to Britain's travel corridor list coming into effect on Saturday, the UK Department for Transport reported Thursday evening.
Israel has shown a continued decline in its number of coronavirus cases. The Health Ministry reported 758 new coronavirus cases on Thursday, bringing the total number of active cases in the country to 8,427.

However, due to the high number of coronavirus infections in Britain, travelers from the UK to Israel will need to quarantine for 12 days upon arrival. When the infection rate goes down in Britain, it might join Israel's green list, and Israelis will be able to travel to Britain and back without the need to quarantine.
Britain is currently in the midst of the second wave of coronavirus infections. Britain has recorded 1,453,256 coronavirus cases since the pandemic erupted in mid-March, including 53,775 deaths.
