Israeli-American tycoon Rafi Nakash, the owner of AMPA Group, Setai Hotels, Eilat port, Arkia and Minrav Projects, is buying the luxury New York apartment of Nelson Rockefeller, the businessman and politician who served as vice president under US President Gerald Ford between 1974-1977, and was the 49th governor of New York. He also served in the administrations of Presidents Roosevelt, Truman and Eisenhower.

The apartment is on Fifth Avenue, overlooking Central Park. According to the New York Post, it was on the market for only 43 days. It has four bedrooms and was put on sale for $11.5 million. The grandson of billionaire John Rockefeller bought the apartment on the 15th floor 57 years ago, shortly after serving as Governor of New York.
