Twitter will limit the number of outlets that can call election results on Tuesday, the internet giant announce dMOnday.
According to Twitter, a select group of news outlets and organizations will be allowed to call results on its platform to ensure that Election Day confusion is averted.
The outlets are as follows: ABC News, AP, CNN, CBS News, Decision Desk HQ, Fox News and NBC News.
Axios, which broke the story, said they are "all outlets that experts agree have verified, unbiased decision desks calling elections." Tweets that don't rely on those networks may be flagged.
