Economic ties and relations will play a key role in cementing the Israel-UAE peace, while having positive effects across the Middle East, according to panelists who took part at the International Kohelet policy Forum, Shilo Policy Forum and Israel Hayom Conference held last week.

At the same time, differences in business culture mean that there is also a danger of miscommunication, they noted.
The economic panel brought together Emirati, Israeli, Jordanian and American business leaders and experts to explore these possibilities, analyze potential opportunities, and discuss the wider implications for the region.
"There is tremendous potential for economic cooperation between Israel and the UAE, Bahrain and other Gulf states," one panelist said.
The UAE's position as a global business hub, and Israel's character as the Start-Up Nation, creates many potential synergies, they concluded.
