A rabbi from southern Israel has been arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a female doctor, police reported Monday night.
After the case was opened, police received another complaint from a different woman who made similar allegations against the suspect.
While most of the details of the case are under a gag order, police said that the rabbi was brought in for questioning on suspicion of sexual crimes against the two women and for allegedly interfering with the investigation.
