Doctors treating a three-year-old boy who nearly drowned at a private swimming pool in Pardes Hanna-Karkur on Sunday woke him from a medically-induced coma on Tuesday morning.
The boy was conscious and scheduled to be moved to the pediatric intensive care unit at Rambam Medical Center in Haifa later in the day.
Dr. Danny Eytan, who has been treating the boy since he was brought in said that one of the reasons the child was able to regain consciousness was that people nearby had administered CPR immediately after pulling him out of the water.
