Nearly one-fifth of Israeli employees currently on furlough because of coronavirus do not want to go back to work, a survey by the Central Bureau of Statistics published Thursday shows.
According to the survey, which was conducted among 1,500 business owners and 1.5 million employees, 18.7% of the 94,000 employees currently furloughed do not want to go back to work because of downgraded employment conditions.
As of Aug. 20, 6.4% of the workforce in Israel was on furlough.
