The IDF struck Hamas site in the southern Gaza Strip overnight in response to arson attacks on communities near the border.
The strikes, which took place in the early hours of Tuesday morning, were in response to 36 fires that were sparked in Israeli farmlands adjacent to the Israel-Gaza border by airborne incendiary devices launched by Palestinian terrorists.

"IDF fighter jets, tanks, and aircraft attacked military bases and underground infrastructure operated by the Hamas terrorist organization in the southern Gaza Strip," the military said in a statement.
"The IDF will continue to forcibly counter any attempt to carry out terrorist activity against Israel and its citizens."
Also on Monday, four Islamic Jihad operatives were killed and six others were injured in an explosion in a rocket mill in the southern coastal enclave.
According to Palestinian media reports, the massive blast, which took place in the Shujaiyya neighborhood in Gaza, was felt for miles around.
Initial reports blamed Israel for carrying out a targeted assassination of a Jihad official using a drone, but those reports were later changed, as the terrorist group said its operatives were killed in a "work-related accident."
