The United Arab Emirates has expressed interest in the IDF's Light Blade laser defense system, designed to intercept small-scale airborne threats.
The defense system, designed by OptiDefense and the Border Police, aims to counter the threat posed by balloon-strapped incendiary and explosive devices, as well as drones launched from the Gaza Strip into Israel.

UAE officials have reportedly approached the system's developers and have expressed interest in acquiring several units of Light Blade.
