Russian health authorities are planning to launch a mass coronavirus vaccination campaign in October, local news agencies reported.
According to Russia's Interfax news agency, Health Minister Mikhail Murashko said that the Gamaleya Institute, a state research facility in Moscow, had "completed clinical trials of an adenovirus-based vaccine. ... Doctors and teachers will be the first to be treated."
