American businessman Brandon Korff, who was deported from Israel last month due to a controversy over coronavirus directives, was allowed to come back, Israel Hayom learned on Sunday.
Israel's Population and Immigration Authority said last month that it had granted Korff a special permit to enter the country, which is under a travel lockdown due to the global pandemic, to visit his brother, who is serving in the Israeli military.

But PIA then asked him to leave after it was claimed that he had violated the 14-day quarantine directive imposed on all arrivals into the country. His Israeli girlfriend, the model Yael Shelbia, explained at the time that the incident was "just a big misunderstanding."
Authorities seem to have conceded that expelling Korff from the country may have been a tad drastic.
Back in Israel, he is currently under self-imposed isolation in his Tel Aviv apartment while Shelbia has temporarily relocated.
