One of the most prominent figures in Chabad-Lubavitch Hasidic movement, Rabbi Yitzchak Yehuda Yaroslavsky, sent Prime Minister a letter urging him not to accept the Trump administration's peace plan.

The plan, revealed in late January, allows Israel to extend its sovereignty to virtually all Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria provided that it withhold construction in certain areas that are designed to be part of a future Palestinian state.
The administration has made it clear that Palestinian statehood will become a reality only after terrorist organizations no longer pose a threat to Israel, and only after four years of negotiations in which the Palestinians prove their good faith.
In his letter last week, Yaroslavsky warned that despite the plan's many benefits, Netanyahu should not accept it because it would result in a dangerous terrorist state alongside Israel.
He noted that the movement had voiced its objections to territorial concessions in the past, invoking the late leader of the Chabad, Menachem Mendel Schneerson, who said that "giving away territory threatens the lives of Jews."
According to Yaroslavsky, "Against the backdrop of discussions involving the possibility of forming a Palestinian terrorist state in Judea and Samaria, we ask the honorable prime minister to avoid, God forbid, this mistake of accepting President Donald Trump's 'Deal of the Century,' which includes in it a Palestinian state ... This plan will only bring the opposite of good and security for the Holy Land."
