The Office of Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) accused the left=wing NGO B'Tselem of "exploiting the coronavirus" and "disseminating false information" on the coronavirus pandemic.
The NGO said Thursday that the IDF "confiscated tents to establish a field clinic and emergency accommodation" for patients with COVID-19.

"We are sorry to see a human rights NGO choosing to exploit a global crisis to spread false news," COGAT said in a statement.
COGAT claims that the demolished structure was "a guard post built illegally and without a permit by a resident of Bardala," a village northeast of Nablus in the West Bank.
"Neither the Palestinian Authority nor any other world organization has asked to build a treatment center for patients with COVID-19," said COGAT.
B'Tselem is a Jerusalem-based non-profit organization whose stated goals "are to document human rights violations" in the West Bank, with the aim of helping "to create a human rights culture in Israel."
COGAT is notably in charge of coordinating and delivering thousands of masks and screening test kits in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. This equipment is supplied by the World Health Organization.
