Amitai Chen, 30, was diagnosed with COVID-19 after contracting the novel coronavirus. Speaking with i24NEWS from the hospital, he warned young Israelis this week that they must not overlook the dangers of the respiratory disease.

"It can happen [to you], it happened to me. I know that a lot of young people, they don't have the symptoms, but they are getting sick. I got sick and it was terrible.
