Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) came under criticism online on Tuesday after social media posts showed her wearing a T-shirt with a map of "Palestine" replacing the state of Israel.

Tlaib, who has come under repeated criticism for her anti-Israel sentiment and support for the boycott, divestment, and sanctions movement, wore the shirt while holding a newly published book authored by Linda Sarsour, another vocal critic of the Israeli government who has been accused of making anti-Semitic remarks.
"Stand in solidarity with Palestine by wearing this beautiful Palestinian tee-shirt," the online advertisement of the shirt says, as reported by the Washington Free Beacon. "An outlined map of Palestine is filled with red, white, and green Arabic letters that look stunning from a distance and spell the word Palestine up close. A patterned shemagh wraps around the neck of the Palestinian state like the brave soldiers whose boots stand on the dusty ground."

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL), has slammed Tlaib for falsely claiming that Israeli Jews deliberately killed a Palestinian child. The ADL said she was spreading a "blood libel" that was "steeped in centuries-old accusations used to demonize Jews."
