The IDF Spokesperson's Unit said that one missile was fired at the vehicle and several people were apparently injured.
It is unclear if the attempted sniper attack was in response to an alleged Israeli assassination of a member of Iran's Shiite terrorist organization, Hezbollah, earlier this week.
Following the IDF hit, Defense Minister Naftali Bennet said that "even on Election Day, our enemies keep trying to hurt Israeli citizens and disrupt our lives, but we are going to stop them from doing that like we do every day."
Israel has repeatedly warned Iran that it would not let it use Syria's civil war as cover for expanding its regional influence using Hezbollah. Israel has reportedly attacked on multiple occasions bases and forces affiliated with Iran.
