Dozens of suspected child abusers from the United States have reportedly fled to Israel over the past several years to avoid US law enforcement and prosecution, according to a shocking new report published by American broadcaster CBS on Wednesday.
The CBS News investigation claims to have found that some 60 accused pedophiles are currently residing in the Jewish state.

Jewish Community Watch (JCW), an American organization that monitors accused child abusers, said that the suspects are exploiting Israel's Law of Return, whereby any Jew around the globe is entitled to Israeli citizenship, to escape from justice.
The JCW claims that since the organization began its mission in 2014, more than 60 suspects have fled from the US to Israel, noting that the actual number is likely much larger.
"The same thing that is going on in the Catholic Church right now around the world, the exact same thing is happening in our community," JCW founder Meyer Seewald told CBS News.
"The cover-ups are the same, the stigma, the shame."
