The woman was among the passengers of the Diamond Princess cruise ship off the coast of Japan, which has seen an outbreak on board for more than 10 days.
The vessel has been closely monitored by authorities off the coast of Japan for the past several days, with at least 130 carriers being diagnosed with the virus.
The Israeli woman has been exhibiting high fever and is awaiting further test results. Some 15 Israelis are on board the ship, but it is unclear whether they have been in contact with the woman.
