A brave Muslim woman came to the aid of a Jewish man and his two boys while on the London Underground on Friday.
The father and his sons – all wearing kippot – were verbally assaulted when a man approached them and began spewing passages from the New Testament that have anti-Semitic undertones.

"And behold, I will make them the synagogue of Satan and Satan are Jews ... I will make them come and worship before your feet," he said.
One bystander attempted to intervene, to which the man threatened to "slap" the good Samaritan.
After a few more moments of intimidation and harassment a Muslim woman, Asma Shuweikh, spoke up to interrupt the man's hate-filled rant.
"Come on, they're children here," she pleaded.
"These people are imposters," the man shot back. "Trying to claim our heritage ... and they funded the slave trade, that's okay?"
He then questioned the Muslim woman as to why she was wearing pants.
Remember the video of a Muslim woman defending a Jewish family on the subway, in London, after someone started spewing hatred against Jews.
She just spoke out.
Her name is Asma Shuweikh. She's a mother of two.
Maybe there is hope for this world after all! Asma Shuweikh you are my star of the day! Maybe the week, month and year! To see a Muslim women, confront an anti-Semitic black Christian, spewing hate to children, is truly inspiring! Thank you very very much ❤️💪

The entire disturbing altercation was filmed by Chris Atkins who Tweeted, "The woman who intervened was Muslim and she was incredibly brave."
According to The Telegraph, the man in question was arrested by authorities Saturday night on suspicion of committing a racially aggravated public order offense. His name has not been released.
As for Shuweikh, a mother of two, told local media that she "wouldn't hesitate to do it again."
Jewish community needs to recognise the actions of #AsmaShuweikh & follow her lead- Do we stand up to prejudice like she did?
Do we defend people from outside our own community like she did?

"I would have loved more people to come up and say something because if everyone did, I do not think it would have escalated in the way that it did," she said.

A cursory search of Shuweikh's name on Twitter shows an outpouring of appreciation and support for her good deed from a diverse array of people.
Muslim US Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) also retweeted the video and praised the woman, saying: "It is more painful when people around you as it happens stay silent and do nothing. Thank you sis for speaking up, and showing all of us how we are all connected."
