After a long-anticipated wait, pop singer Celine Dion confirmed in an online video that she would finally be performing in Israel.

The pop diva's concert will take place on Aug. 4, 2020, in Tel Aviv, which also coincides with the Jewish holiday of Tu B'Av.

A giant amphitheater will be built especially for the event. It is set to hold a maximum capacity of 20,000 people. An additional concert date may be scheduled due to high demand.
Tickets will go on pre-sale on Oct. 1 at 8:00 p.m. at the end of the Rosh Hashanah holiday and to the general public on Oct. 2 at 8:00 a.m.
Tickets will start at a 390 shekels ($110).
