Yisrael Beytenu party leader Avigdor Lieberman accused Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of dragging out negotiations with Blue and White on Facebook, and saying the Likud party leader intends for Israel to hold a third election.
"History has proven that when Bibi [Netanyahu] wants, he can be the most flexible man in the world. I hope that he will demonstrate this same flexibility in negotiations with Blue and White," he wrote.

Netanyahu was set to have dinner with Gantz at the President's Residence in Jerusalem, Wednesday night. President Reuven Rivlin is, of course, trying to bring the two to reach an agreement on the establishment of a unity government.
Lieberman appears to be coordinating with Gantz after meeting with the Blue and White leader ahead of Gantz's meeting with Netanyahu and Rivlin on Tuesday. Netanyahu has said he is not just representing the Likud in coalition talks, but all 55 members of the right-wing bloc. It appears that as a result of these remarks, Gantz is working to strengthen his ties to the Yisrael Beytenu leader.
On Facebook, Lieberman wrote that "ever since the elections on April 9, we have seen the unlimited flexibility Netanyahu has shown and his tricks. From the cries of 'the Arabs are flocking to the polls in droves' and the camera law, to the hectic contacts with the Joint [Arab] List, including Balad, through MK Miki Zohar and Natan Eshel, and the willingness to hand over up to half of the kingdom to [former Labor party leader] Avi Gabbay, all just to remain in the prime minister's chair."
"History has proven that when Bibi wants, he is the most flexible man in the world. I hope that we may learn before Rosh Hashanah that at least in principle, there is a government that will finally find time to take care of the security and economic problems, in particular against the background of the expected wave of layoffs."
