The results further projected that the Joint Arab List would win 11 mandates, followed by Yisrael Beytenu (10), United Torah Judaism (8), Shas (7), Labor (6), the New Right (5), Meretz (4) and United Right and the Israel Democratic Party, with four seats each.
As for how possible unions in the Right, between New Right, United Right and Otzma Yehudit, and in the Left, between Labor, Meretz and the Israel Democratic Party, would affect voters, the poll found that Likud would win 31 Knesset seats and Blue and White would secure 28, and a united left-wing list would win 15 seats.
Were the center-left parties to unite, this would give the Right bloc 40 seats, the center-left 44, the haredi parties 15, Joint Arab List 11 seats, and Yisrael Beytenu 10 mandates.
Were the right-wing parties to unite under the leadership of former Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked, the blocs would split similarly.
Asked who they believe is the best candidate for the position of the prime minister, 40% of the respondents supported Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and 28% preferred Blue and White leader Benny Gantz. About 22% said neither was suited to be the prime minister.
