Relatives of an American-Israeli father of four who was stabbed to death in Gush Etzion last week returned to the site of the terrorist attack, Friday.
After paying their respects at Ari Fuld's grave, family members held a memorial breakfast near the site of the attack.
Fuld's daughter Tamar said, "Many people say it's scary and unpleasant [to return to the scene of the attack], but it's more about pride than sitting and crying at home."
"We are carrying on, and that is what he would have wanted," she said.
Speaking at Fuld's gravesite, Fuld's father Yonah said, "We learned how to find inner strength in Ari's life and death, and despite the bitter personal pain, we are filled with pride at his heroism and the way in which Ari lived his life."
After he was stabbed, Fuld, 45, managed to shoot his assailant, a 17-year-old Palestinian, before collapsing. He later succumbed to his wounds at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem.
A prominent resident of the settlement of Efrat, Fuld was a well-known figure in English-language Israeli public diplomacy efforts. He managed a blog defending Israel from the delegitimization efforts of the boycott, divestment and sanctions movement.
