The Israel Public Relations Association has awarded a special citation to Israel Hayom's Editor-in-Chief Boaz Bismuth.
Bismuth received the ISPRA's Roaring Lion award for his media achievements in 2017, his prediction of the outcome of the 2016 U.S. presidential election, and the exclusive interviews with U.S. President-elect Donald Trump that ran in Israel Hayom.
Professor Yechiel Limor and Dr. Baruch Leshem were also awarded the prize for their professional contributions to the field of public relations.
Every year, the ISPRA holds the annual Roaring Lion competition, which this year will honor the association's 60th anniversary.
ISPRA Chairman Eitan Hershko said that "as part of the Roaring Lion event, we traditionally grant special awards for media figures' work for society and the country."
The prize ceremony is scheduled to be held on Sept. 16.
